I went to Goodwill and found a coffee table that was just a smidge smaller than my 2x4 cage. It was about 14" high, too, so when I added onto my cage, I was able to just use grids to support the addition (which also has a patio brick in it, so when we say using the grids in conjunction with connectors and zip ties is sturdy, it's seriously true).
This left me with cage support and umpteen extra grids for a whopping $6.50! |
