| Introducing piggers to each other? Hi there! As a new piggers mom, I have two very young girls in my house, who I'm acquiring materials to build a nice big C&C cage for.
However, I just found out that there's a family nearby who have two 10 month old girls that they have to give up, because of moving difficulties and family problems. They have a nice big C&C cage of their own already, too.
Being that they're both bonded pairs, is it a bad idea to try to introduce them on neutral ground and work them up to sharing a big ol' piggie palace? I'm not sure how it works. I imagine that since they're young, now would be a good time for introductions, BUT I don't know if it works the same way with bonded pairs.
I just really don't want to let these girls, who are spoiled and love kids and are treated so well, go to a home where they won't be appreciated. It WOULD be possible to have two different cages, but it seems it would be so nice to have them together!
My family think I'm a little crazy, but I think they're happy that I'm no longer pressuring them to let me have cats! I love my piggers too much already, and they won't claw up the leather sofa. ;-) |
