Oh dear lord! I could so see a little kid going "Look mommy! A ferret!" and grabbing at the thing and getting attacked. I looked at the picture (so obviously having no clue what minks looked like) and immediately thought that it looked alot like a ferret. This is what kills me about animals. Was it unfair that they be abused? Yes. But is it fair in turn that every other species is endangered now by this animal's release including humans apparently? If I saw a mink in my home and it went to attack a dog or god forbid, my guinea pig or hamster I would beat the crap out of it too. It puts me in mind of evasive and non-evasive species debates going on.
Now this one truly scares me.
