| Adding to the herd!
So I just came back from a much needed three week (wheek?) vacation. My two sows have been staying at the local guinea pig rescue and will continue to until I move into my new place next weekend. While they were there, I asked the attendants to try a couple of meets & greets with their fosters.
Since it sounds like I'll be bringing a third piggie home, I was wondering if I still need to quarantine the newbie? I'm also going to revamp the cage. Do you think an L-shaped C&C with a 2x3 on one end and another 2x3 plus a 1x2 hayloft would be adequate? Or should I make one of those areas a 2x4? |
