Just wondering...does anyone know if there is such thing as specialist small animal groomers?? I know you can pay for dogs and cats to be groomed etc, but can't seem to find any places that deal with long haired guinea pigs.
How do people that show guineapigs keep their hair in such good condition??

The hair around my piggies backsides are constantly knotting and damp....I have taken them to the vets to check they have nothing wrong with their waterworks etc and they have been given the all clear. I've just been advised to keep the hair in that area short! Would make sense but they absolutely hate me trimming and brushing their backsides!! I went to town on them last night with the scissors as there were a fair few knots...and they are now officially sulking with me and will probably try avoid me for the next few days!

Are their any show people out there that can offer any advice to me?? I really want to get their hair long and in good condition...but they wont stay still for me!!

I live in the Oxfordshire (UK) area...I would happily drive out and pay someone who show's long haired guinea pigs to give me a hand with them!!!
