Could it be that she is very scared and not moving when you yell at her? Yelling at any animal can be scary.
I also made the mistake of buying my first pig from petsmart (and have since adopted 2 more from Craigslist), but I did take him to a vet the very first week - a routine vet bill for a pig is around $50.
Can I ask why you put her with the male? Do Casper and Peaches live together? Has peaches gotten pregnant? Maybe you should take Honey to a shelter where they will provide care for her. Taking her back to Petsmart will seal her fate :( |
