I honestly do not believe that this story is true. Anyone who loves animals or even has a heart would never do this job, regardless of the money it pays. You couldn't pay me ten million dollars a year to do this job; I'd rather starve to death because I couldn't pay my bills than support such a cruel and disgusting practice. But despite whether the story is true or not, I bet that everyone who read it left feeling the same way: horrified, sad, maybe even guilty. So whoever wrote the story still got out the message that because of such a screwed up system and people's refusal to spay and neuter and use good judgement, millions of animals are killed each year. |
