How is everything else with the pigs? Any weight loss? Are their appetites good, do they pee and poo fine? Is there any nose discharge, watery eyes? Does their breathing seem normal and not labored? Is there any clicking type noise when they breathe?
If the answer to the above is all no then I'd say there is no URI going on. It can be common for a pig to sneeze up to 5 times per day. A pig with a URI can sneeze many times a day every day until they are treated with AB's and the URI goes away. There are pigs who can develop allergies, although it's rare, it happens.
I am not a vet and not telling you not to take your pig(s) to the vet if you think he/they need it. But I'd still call that one you found and ask lots of questions and make sure you always have a copy of the safe and dangerous meds list with you when you go to any vet. |
