Wow, all of the above helped me sooooooo much. I think the sounds are similar, with a small difference in tone. I do think they are in heat and rumblestrutting for dominance, as they are mounting each other a tiny bit. Also, I do not believe they were handled much when young, so my attention is new. I think they would prefer to be left alone, so am trying to pet them when they are eating their favorite thing. But, as stated above, when I go past the middle of their back, they make a similar, but different tone sound, witch I believe is telling me, they do not want me back there. So I am concentrating on their neck and ears. I hope in time, they will enjoy it and want it more. It is tough, as I know they just want the delicious salad and to be left alone. Thank you so much for your comments, it has truly helped me. They are delightful, but so different and I so want to give them a good home.
