No, the hemiplegic migraines are a condition that I seem to have been born with. This article my husband found implied that vegetarian diets can trigger migraines.
My mom actually says she believes I was suffering migraines from an infant. I have had several terrible "attacks" which led to me being hospitalized when I was 8 years old and diagnosed (after numerous tests) with hemiplegic migraine. Unfortunately, migraines run in my family.
I'm vegetarian, not vegan.
