I tried to search my question, but didn't find any specific answers.
What kinds of pellets are "junk" and what are the good ones? I can't seem to tell the difference... I am getting a 6 week old guinea pig on Saturday and am trying to get everything before she gets here. I know that she needs alfalfa-based pellets, but all the pellets I can find on PetSmart have alfalfa in them...
Which brands are good to buy and preferably available in stores...? And how many pounds should I buy for one guinea pig if I'm giving her veggies and hay, too? |
