Get a grid and with bolt cutters, cut off all four corners. Then zip tie that grid to another and "latch" it on one side with a binder clip or something. This is my cage and if you look at the grids beside (to the right) the water bottles, you'll see what I mean.

If you zip tie the grids to the other grids it will be strong enough. I zip tied each grid 3-4 times on all sides to the grids around it.

You can send me a private message or whatever if this doesn't make sense and I will try to explain it better. This is the fourth cage I've built and I've rather learned the hard way what not to do as far as doors and supports between the levels.
