 How to enjoy floor time?
Whenever we take Tyler out of his cage for floor time, he sits very still in the middle of the area for about 5 minutes, then runs over and climbs back into his cage. He just doesn't seem to want to have floor time. He loves lap and cuddle time and can sit for what seems like hours in a lap and be petted.
We've put out tubes to run in, boxes to hide in, and even a piggloo to hide in during floor time, but he still just sits there. I've tried giving him his veggies out of the cage and he won't eat them.
Soooo, with the exception of getting him a piggy friend to play with (which I know is what I should do), how can I get him to actually do something during floor time? |
