| My two girls are battling - building big cage, any other suggestions?

I have two girls, one is about 2 and a half, and the other just turned two. They've happily lived together for about a year and a half now without issue, the older (Wiggles) growls occasionally (she growls at everything, including her food as she chows down, she's weird) but otherwise, they're happy. They slept together and everything. Now the younger one (Jiggles) is attacking Wiggles. Wig wants nothing to do with this and just tries to run. I have them in a pretty big cage as it is, but am building them a new one tonight using the method mentioned here, with a second deck and everything, hopefully that will make a difference. Is there any other reason Jiggles would suddenly start attacking her? She keeps trying to bite Wig's ear, that's about it, but it's getting aggressive. I thought it was just play at first, but it doesn't seem that way now.
I'm going to bathe them tonight before going into the new cage, is there anything else I can do to make them love eachother again?  |
