| Re: My males are fighting now - Help Everything you have described sounds like perfectly normal dominance behaviour to me. You only separate if they injure each other badly (draw blood). Teeth chattering, occasional lunging, bullying - it's all normal for males. If you keep taking them apart and putting them back together they have to keep starting all over again trying to figure out who is dominant.
I agree your cage is too small. I think the buddy bath is a great idea and then put them into a newly built larger cage together with a big pile of hay/veggies. Hopefully that will help them get along better.
I personally have found that with young, active males, they get along much better in a cage that is 3x4 (or bigger) rather than a 2x4 because it gives them a lot more space to get away from each other. I know sometimes it's not possible to fit in a cage that big, but if you can I bet it would help. Otherwise, just go as big as you can.
