| Re: Piggie doesn't like fresh fruits and veggies... My advice would be to slow down and work with only a couple veggies to start off with. Lettuce and bell peppers. Sometimes it takes days or weeks to get pigs to eat veggies, so have some patience. Offer a small amount of both lettuce and bell pepper daily until he's eating it well then about twice per week, add in one new veggie.
Sometimes it's like they are overwhelmed with too many things to try, especially if they've never had veggies before. Kale has a high calcium content but it's also got a good amount of Vitamin C in it. You can continue to feed it but only a couple times per week. |
