Also, what happens if the mommy pig doesn't want widdle babies, but the daddy wants to get jiggy and mates with her, then the sow nearly dies in the birth and then the babies turn out to be lethals? Also, 'some humans end up loving their unplanned babies mean that an intentionally bred sow will love her babies' -- that's some leap in logic you made there.

Also, they DO NOT need to breed to survive in captivity. Your argument is negated.
