Human overpopulation comes from a variety of factors I won't get into now. But the humans generally make the conscious decision to breed -- whether for social, political, or economic reasons. Very few humans are forced to breed. You would be forcing your pigs to breed. Not in a cruel, barbarous way, but by giving them the opportunity to do so. In the wild they breed to survive. They do not need to breed to survive in captivity.
Do you want a despotic government that tells you when you can and when you can't have babies? Think about that, and apply it to your pigs.
