I'm so sorry for your loss. The same thing happened with my guinea pig, Corky. He was perfectly fine the day before and then in the morning he had passed away, but he was almost 5 years old. I suspected a stroke or heart attack. It is always very difficult when you do not know the cause of death, especially after having an post-mortem done. Please try not to worry too much because it sounds like it was nothing contagious or poison but instead his heart or blood clot. Keep an eye on your other pig, just incase but unfortunately, these things happen. I'm truely sorry, I know it's heartbreaking. Give yourself time to grieve.
