I have two new Guinea Pigs, born April 4, 2008. I know that one is a boy and one is a girl. My question is ~ at what age can he get her pregnant? I read that they can stop nursing around 4 weeks. I am still looking for good homes for them. Until I do, I don't want any more babies. I have a male and a female already, both around 6 months. He has been neutered, and has been separated from her for a while. I would love to get the two older ones back together again, but can't while we still have the babies (Mom is way too protective). I was thinking of putting the two males together and the two females together to prevent any pregnancies, but do not know how they will do. Thank you for any help you can give me.
