We just went through intro's ourselves. It actually took several days in a neutral spot before I tried putting them in the same cage (I made the mistake of trying them in the cage together, too soon...so had to back up and take a slower approach).
It sounds to me like your girls were getting along better than mine.....up to the part where Ginger would chase Mokka.
My girls have been living together for a week tomorrow. Harmony and Melody still push Hope and Joy around, and chase them occasionally. But they seem to get along otherwise and even eat together...so I think we'll be ok.
I wonder if Ginger is just trying to teach Mokka to remember that she is boss (??). Is it possible for you to take some of the food, and a separate bowl of water and put that over where Mokka is? i.e. feeding her separately. Maybe if Ginger has food to call her own, she won't pay attention to Mokka getting her own food.
