This kind of fits here.
When I got my pigs, my mom was weary of getting them for a rescue. But I'm on my own so she had no say. Now she's all about it, yet she didn't seem sold on dogs from shelters yet. Now my neighbors got an adorable lab puppy (which is what she wants). She had to call me "it's even a rescue!" Hey! It's progress! (She's still a bit from getting a dog so I hadn't started in on her yet but now I don't have to.) |
