| Question about male guinea pigs Hi everyone I haven't been here in a while but I have a question for some experienced owners. I have two male guinea pigs that have been separated for a while because they were fighting. Today I took them outside in a pen that I split in half for them so that they could see each-other but not hurt each-other. My pig Charlie was fine because he had been outside before I got my other pig Parker. Parker on the other hand was really scared and kept biting the bars and trying to get to Charlie's side. I was wondering if it is a bad idea to re introduce them. Sometimes they sleep next to each-other with the bars in the cage in-between them. They are now living in a split 2x5 c&c cage and they are both a year and a few months old. I think that parker is about a month older than Charlie. I think they started fighting because parker had lice when I got him and I foolishly didn't honor the quarantine period so they both needed a treatment which I believe is called revolution and they had to be separated for two hours so that they wouldn't lick it off of each other. Any way I would like to know if it is possible to re introduce them. |
