My guinea pig is also finicky when it comes to hay. She like Kaytee hay but she did NOT like Oxbow hay. Luckily I had purchased a small bag so I didn't waste much. I now have a large order of KM hay. She seems to like it well enough.
Try and remember that guinea pigs have tastes just like we do. Sometimes they don't like the best stuff like we think they should. Just because people say that Oxbow or KM is the best, doesn't mean much to a guinea pig. Make sure that he has a good variety of foods and he will be fine. |
