My little squeakers do the exact same thing - when they hear the rustling plastic, they know it's food time!!! The problem is, they start freaking out every time they hear rustling plastic now LOL.

You might want to give them a few more days to get used to their new surroundings and just keep your hands in the cage a lot to let them smell you and get used to having you around. I personally believe if you pick them up at least once a day, they will become more comfortable with you handling them. Just try not to chase them too much if you can help it - you can always shoo one into a hidey and then use that to pick your piggie up. If you wrap your piggie in a towel or use a cuddle cup then he/she might feel more comfortable being held. A towel will also help protect your lap against getting peed on. Limit the amount of time you hold your piggies - if you hold them too long you'll probably get peed on.
