Re: Help with leash manners?

I grew up on a property. We had several dogs, working dogs, who were also family pets (I used to dress them up haha).

No choke collar, prong collars, or anything were used, and they were trained to react to voice commands, purely through positive reinforcement, and walk to heel impecably.

The two dogs my father has, walk one on either side of him, almost as if to hold him up. My dad has medical issues and dizzy spells a lot. The dogs are like his shadow.

The dogs don't have temper tantrums, but my dad sure does! (he has PTSD)
