I am a mother of 3 children, all very young in age, the oldest is 5 the youngest 10 months. I have 3 boars and they are the first pigs I have ever owned. I started with the one, and after researching the breed, knew I had to adopt at least one other. I found a bonded pair that needed a new home so said what the heck and got both! I must say, it really isn't much more of a hassle with 3. They are in a very large C&C cage and it is much easier to keep clean than the smaller cages. When they are in smaller cages, they really have no where to pee and poop other than in the same places. It piles up and smells much faster. With the larger cages you just need to spot clean and the rest of the bedding will last much longer. The pigs really are happy with the large cage. You can see it in their day to day activities. Even if you just let your child have one more, the pigs really are happier!
