[Pumpkin_RIP]

I only have one guinea pig at the moment, and I know they need buddies, but my mom doesn't want to get another one. She says that Savannah(my female piggie) is "perfectly happy now" Yes, I know that she doesn't really have a point of reference, but this is my mom we are talking about here, so I need some really good, hard evidence has to why she should allow me to adopt another piggie. I know somewhere on this website there are some really great articles about why guinea pigs need a buddy, but I can't find it. Can someone post a link to any good articles explaining why guinea pigs need at least one friend? Also, I am getting some coroplast for a C&C cage soon(hopefully tomorrow), but I think my mom is still iffy about getting one, so any great articles about why guinea pigs need large cages would be sooo helpful. Thanks so much! Any help is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I just put togther a page on Microsoft Word with some selected info from this site about why piggies need space. But, more info is still appreciated!
