My 3-year-old cat died this morning -
He is an outdoor cat, or was, and LOVED hunting mice. His name was Tiger because of his black stripes.
He was rarely seen, because our other kitties, not mentioning names - (Chips!!) hated Tiger and un-welcomed him.
Even though Tiger was only seen about 2 weeks in the whole year

, he was VERY tame. You could hold him, pet him ETC.
The vets always mentioned his great temperament.
We think he died today, in a car accident, got hit, broke some bones (for sure) and then was able to carry himself a few meters away, in the trees. He was slightly buried in fresh snow, and his fur was stuck to the ice under him.
He was bleeding slightly from his mouth.
We had our own cremation, since burying him was out of question (snow...frost...soil was still frozen)
At least he is warm now...and he's probably trying to catch that mouse he had for dinner last night in heaven!!
