Do you feed fresh veggies
twice per day? One cup of fresh veggies per pig/twice a day is what you should be feeding.
Print off this diet chart to use on a daily basis:
Diet/Nutrition Chart. It shows what veggies to feed
daily along with what veggies to supplement with 1-2 times, and 3-4 times per week. Your pigs should be getting a combination of leaf lettuce (red, green, butter, romaine, etc.,
not iceburg) twice a day. In addition to other veggies on the list (rotating during the week). Mark a calendar to keep track of what you have fed on what days (according to what the chart states).

They just get kinda annoying with the constant wheeking...
|
I could never consider my piggies' wheeking "annoying". I'm sorry, but when they wheek...I pay attention to what the reason might be. Are they hungry and need fed more?...Are they lonely/scared/want attention and reassurance?...Are they just spoiled rotten and want a corn husk treat?...etc.
When ours wheek, and I jump up and run to them to see what they want, my husband picks on me (and them) by saying, "go ahead...jump at their demands and be their slave!!"

(He does too!).
That's just because they don't wheek that much between meals because they are well fed. So when they do...I know there is some other reason and look into it.
