I feed each pig 1/4 cup of Oxbow pellets a day. I give them 1/8 cup in the morning and 1/8 cup at night (per pig). That way they have something to munch on later. I had the same concern as you. But everyone said I was feeding the right amount and that just because they scream at me doesn't mean I have to feed them. I know it's annoying (cute....but still a bit annoying). I had Bonsai and Tsunami in cages next to my kitchen. They screamed every time the faucet was turned on, the fridge door was opened, or a plastic bag was rustled. Thank goodness they are all in my bedroom now. They only scream when its breakfast or dinner time or when I talk to them in a certain voice. Just make sure they have plenty of hay and water 24/7 and they'll be alright. |
