Do you not have a local farm shop or Green grocers? My grocers are charging £1.40 for a small head of endive at the moment so I am resorting to buying bagged lettuce from tesco. I buy the Florette crispy bag, the tesco's own butterhead and four leaf salad.
You can always add in, if you haven't already.. round lettuce and little gem. My pigs also like lambs lettuce but it can make them gassy! :P |
