| Re: Frustration I still sit here frustrated and wonder when do I give up on this dog? After the officer had agreed to call me Friday to set up a time to meet the dog he never did. I called and left messages and sent several e-mails. I sent another e-mail yesterday to be sure the dog was still up for adoption. I did get a response that yes, he was still up for adoption. The officer stated that he had "family issues" and that is why he didn't call me Friday. I understand family issues but this is getting ridiculous. He said in his e-mail that he would call me today (yesterday, when I got the e-mail). Yet, no call. So I sit here today, wondering when to throw in the towel on this poor dog. It's so unfair. But I also don't want to keep waiting around for something that won't happen and there are so many dogs out there needing a home.
Our local humane society had to close down because there weren't any volunteers so in our area the dogs are all going to the pound. Maybe I should check with them. I don't know at this point. |
