OK--turns out they had a male at one time, so that's how the one might be pregnant. The piggies are a mother/daughter pair. The lady says that they have been loved, but due to some changes, she no longer has the time to care properly for the piggies, and wants them to have a loving home, and asked me to tell her a bit about myself, which I did. I'm awaiting a reply.
How well do guinea pigs handle a name change? I'm not overly fond of their current names, though I could live with the names. Are they like dogs or cats in that there will be confusion for awhile, but then it's fine, or do they have no clue that those particular sounds mean that their attention is wanted, so it doesn't really matter? |
