It isn't fatal but the underlying issue that could be causing it needs to be addressed.
Ear infections are painful, could result in the animal going deaf and could also spread internally and cause major health issues. If it's neurological the cause must be determined to treat the issue (if treatable).
Wry neck itself is a balance issue. It's rather like the world is spinning and the poor animal cannot keep it's balance properly. Without treatment wry neck can become permanent. |
