Carrot tops contain much more calcium than the carrot themselves. They can be fed but only a couple times per week in limited amounts. Pigs can have 1 small/medium sized baby carrot or equivalent of regular carrot per day. A baby carrot does not contain very much sugar. Rather they are high in vitamin A and oxalic acid. They are more of a treat type veggie. |
