The thing most people don't realize is that when hay is cut and baled, there aren't people sifting through it in the fields looking to see if there are dead bugs or mice and other impurities in the hay. Sometimes things like this are in the hay. It's rather to be expected.
I would just toss the cricket out and continue to use the hay. In the wild, they would just eat around it and go on. |
