An example of what I feed per piggie each day is...

2 large (or 4 small) leaves of romaine Lettuce
2 leaves of radicchio
4 sprigs of cilantro
1 cherry tomato
1 small floret of broccoli
1 slice bell pepper (1/8 pepper) Yellow, green, or red

I would serve that menu plan for about 3-4 days and then I would switch the cucumber for zucchini, the broccoli for parsley, and maybe switch one of the red lettuces for curly endive. Then I would serve that meal for 3-4 days and make a few more changes.
Is it okay to feed the same 8 or 9 veggies each day for 3-4 days (to use up the veggies and cut down on waste) before rotating in new veggies? |
It doesn't really change very much. All I do is have have the red leaf lettuce in the morning, and the green leaf lettuce at night, and all the other lettuces regularly, and switch around some of the other veggies, like carrots, or cherry tomatoes, or zucchini, or cucumber, and I have basil once on Sunday, and asparagus once a month. I carefully looked at Ly's chart to decide what to put on what days.
Umm...Ly I don't quite get what you said about the baby carrots, and cherry tomatoes?
