Go easy on carrots. They aren't all that good for pigs and are considered more of a "treat" type veggie. They need to be limited to no more than 1 baby carrot per day per pig.
Read the Nutrition charts thread and the sample menus thread. They are both sticky threads at the top of this forum section.
I'd also add some leafy greens to his diet. Romaine/red or green leaf lettuce would be good. Leafy greens should make up a good portion of his daily intake of veggies.
It would also be in his best interest to get him a C&C cage and a buddy as piggies are very social creatures. |
