Unfortunately, that response is very common. I've heard it (in one form, or another) on several occasions. It really is frustrating!
Good for you for being very conscientious and learning the proper way to take care of guinea pigs. We may not be able to get the message through to some folks (I know that for a fact because I've beat head against the wall trying), but on the other hand - you will find some people willing to listen and change the way they think. |
