Ok first of all take a deep breath...now my whole original point in starting this thread was to help people like you...you say you have spent "hours" looking but my point is that you may have to spend weeks, even a couple of months looking, you have to be patient!
Have you looked on Petfinder?? There are several rescues in the Washington area, often times rescues are willing to help you by meeting you halfway if you are a good adopter. Also try posting over at guinealynx.com and asking if anyone there knows of any sows in need of a home. If you still can't seem to find any piggies then let me know and I'll see what I can do to help. There are guinea pigs to rescue in every city, sometimes it is like finding a needle in a haystack though!
