Re: Kaytee Timothy Hay?

I was really disappointed with Kaytee because I would get a lot of timothy "dust" [that really fine-cut timothy that accumulates at the bottom of the bag which my animals never eat]. I'd have about a half-pound of that leftover once I finished off a 48-oz bag. I usually just stick it in the litterbox for my rabbits, it makes it look nicer but does nothing else.
I order Oxbow hay online, 50 lbs every month [25 of timmy, 25 of orchard grass] and pay so much less for a higher-quality hay.
I also used to get a lot of splinters in my fingers from Kaytee. I've rarely had that problem with Oxbow.
