Re: Kaytee Timothy Hay?

I have found that Timothy hay is Timothy hay as far as ingredients. It is the quality that is the problem. When I used Kaytee, There were never any seedbuds. My pigs love seedbuds. The pieces were also sometimes dry. If you have the opportunity to get to a feed store to get fresh hay that is the best way to go. I bought a bale and have kept it for months in my garage. It is way cheaper to buy in bulk than to get small bags. I spent $20.00 on a bale that may end up lasting me close to 9 months.
