| Re: KM's Hay question I just recieved my first order of KM last Wednesday. It is wonderful by the way.
I ordered 9 pounds of Timothy hay and 20 pounds of food. It came in a box that was approx. 2 ft. x 2 ft. x 2 ft.
I was told it is best to open the shipping box and remove the bag of hay, turn it upside down and put it back in the box, and carefully remove the plastic bag from the hay(leaving the hay in the box without the bag. This way you have the hay in the open box and it will stay fresh for several months to a year this way.
I am afraid if you put it in a closed rubbermaid tote it may stay to moist. This hay will come to you VERY moist and fresh.
I hope this helped a bit! Have a great day! |
