Yes, feed it to them. They will love it! Your dad will not be happy. They can tear through it pretty quickly. Fortunately, it grows back. Many types of grass can be fed to guinea pigs. I've read that fescue can be a problem because there is a mold that sometimes grows inside of it which cannot be seen. Other grasses are nothing to worry about. I've been researching this lately. Some grasses get mold on the outside, so check for abnormal colors in the grass before feeding it to them.

Good grasses besides timothy and orchard:
bluegrass (like Kentucky)
ryegrass
wheatgrass
oat grass.
bermuda grass
crab grass (weed)

There are some others as well. These are the most common in my area. I'm not sure how much is too much. I'm guessing it is like other veggies, meaning you don't want them to eat so much that they get diarrhea from all the extra moisture.
