| Hartz Timothy Hay?
This stuff is junk. Last week I ordered Timothy Hay from American Pet Diner... unfortunately that didn't last very long (they loved it) so the closest place to me to get hay is at shoprite, next is Petco.
They gobbled up the American Pet Diner hay all right, but this Hartz garbage, while still kind of green, is really hard/dry... they're not really touching it. Problem is, I remember this becoming an issue a few weeks ago with the Petco hay also. They were eating it, then I picked up Alfalfa hay from Petco, they didn't touch it, and when I went back to the Petco Timothy Hay they then didn't touch that. SIGH.
I can't be ordering hay all the time online, it's just not realistic - it ends up becoming super expensive with the s&h -- and I'm broke at the moment so won't be able to pick up new hay for them until Saturday (from Petco, blech)... I'm going to continue giving them this Hartz hay until them, just so they have something in there with their alfalfa pellets (oxbow) --- they're also munching away on their veggies of course --- I'm just hoping they become re-interested in the hay at Petco for the time being.
Next paycheck I get I'm going to order them KMs alfalfa/timothy mix, but like I said, can't do it all the time.
They should be okay until Saturday? I know they need unlimited hay but...there's nothing else I can really do at the moment.
Do see them eating some of this Hartz hay, but not too much.  |
