guineapigluvr1 do you have a target or Kmart near you? Somewhere that you can get the grids at? If so, the box of grids does not cost money and you could go get a box so you can at least make a temporary floor time cage for them in your room. You would need to put down a plastic shower curtain liner, they are really cheap, under $5.00 and then put an old blanket on top of that. Then you would put down all of the toys, hideys, food, water, hay (put hay in a rack or some sort of box so it does not make a mess). You could put your pig down in this floor time area any time you want and just clean it all up when you are done. It would be better than leaving your pig in that small cage all the time and maybe when your parents see your pig acting happier they might want to go for the c&c cage!
