Re: Improvement on Pet-store cages?

I keep every scrap of coroplast and only throw away the smallest of pieces. If you look at pictures of all of my cages, you will see that they are pieced together. In fact, in my cage building thread I show that I had to add some coroplast when I rebuilt it.

For the travel cage I just made I had 2 pieces that were the size of a grid and then it took 6 pieces that were the width of the grid and 6 inches high for the sides. And I did the same for the 2x4 quarantine cage. They don't necessarily fit together perfect and I needed to do some trimming but with plenty of packing tape it does the job. I have never had any problem with leaking. I just make sure to use plenty of tape.

The smallest piece I have used is 1 inch by 3 inch that I covered with fleece and put on my ramps for treads.
