Yes! you are absolutely right and we have discussed this with them. I told them that if they tried to get them out on their own ever..that they can really hurt or even kill the piggie if he takes a big fall. I try to be as honest as I can with the kids and they seem to get it. Our cat was killed when she got out one day and went in the street : o ( So they were forced to learn about death with animals already. It was really hard on them and I know that it hit home and that they will listen to me with this one.
They are extremely gentle souls and I cannot wait to put a piggie on their laps and let them snuggle and pet them. They are going to be SO happy. |
