You can't rule out bladder stones unless your piggy has been x-rayed I'm afraid. I would certainly cut down the cabbage and replace with something like romaine. I don't feed it to mine at all as it makes two of them gassy.

Baytril is not the antibiotic of choice for UTIs (just realised above I typed URIs, I meant UTIs). This is because it works better on bacteria in an oxygen-rich environment such as the lungs. Septrin (trimethoprim) works better on anaerobes, the (non-oxygen requiring) bacteria found to cause problems in the bladder.

The shavings you buy here in the UK are absolute junk. They are dusty (yes, even the dust extracted ones) and loaded with oils that will do nothing to help your piggy. Since females have a urinary tract that is low to the ground it is very easily irritated. I would certainly try changing the bedding - it couldn't hurt.

Anyway, I hope some of the above helps and at least gives you some other avenues to try.
